Cabela's Smokehouse Jerky Juice – 16 oz.

One of the secrets to great-tasting jerky is the marinade. Cabela's has combined just the right mixture of seasonings, spices and liquid to make scrumptious jerky every time. All you need to do is put 5 lbs. of meat, ground or strips, in a plastic bag and add one 16-oz. bottle of jerky marinade. Cure overnight in the refrigerator. Remove the meat and dab away excess moisture. Dry the meat in a smoker, dehydrator or oven. It's that easy.
Available: Original, Sweet Sassy Molassy, Chipotle Wildfire.

tried twice

Two months ago I tried your smokehouse jerky juice and did not like at all.Last week I was in your Wheeling WV. store with my son who( loves any thing sweet and almost any jerky he has tried) He talked me into buying some of your sassy & sweet cabelas jerky juice. We made three lbs. yesterday. Guess what, even he did not like it. Sure wish you would bring back the liquid jerky marinade that you used to carry a couple of years ago. I can't remember the name but it was one of the best marinades I have ever tried.

i must say i was surprised how this came out, I used the sassy sweet and it had a good flavor,i used a 60, 40 mix of ground deer and beef 80/20 mix on the beef. Two things to remember if you want a stronger flavor use a little less meat it seems to bring up the taste and if you 're using a jerky shooter add a little more water otherwise its a little sticky out of the gun. and I added a little more garlic and pepper just for my taste but over all it was very easy and had a good flavor and I've made a lot of jerky in the past, I would buy this again.
