David Footer-Wilderness & Wildlife Artist
Dave guided on the famous Broad Back River in Northern Quebec for an amazing 26 seasons. During that time, he spent thousands of hours watching the movements of fish. He acquired firsthand knowledge of the wilderness in Maine, Quebec, Labrador, Ungava Bay Region, and Alaska. Since 1994, his art has been on the covers of Maine Fish and Wildlife as well as Canada's Eastern Woods and Waters. He is a true Maine craftsman, come and see his work.

Born and raised in a large French-Canadian family in New Hampshire, Master Game Chef - Denny Corriveau is affectionately known as "New England's WildCheff" here in the Northeast, and "The WildCheff" nationally. He is a noted national authority on wild game and has perfected a "best practice" methodology for cooking game that encompasses his experience of over 25 years.

If you have ever harvested game, had someone give you a package of it…or have seen things like buffalo, duck or ostrich at the store and wondered what to do with it, The WildCheff will easily answer those questions for you, and provide demonstrations that will highlight the versatility of game!

Rotary Ice Fishing Derby
Members from the Rotary will be here to pre-register ice fisherman and talk about the 2010 ice fishing derby. This is one of the largest derbies on the East coast. Funds from the derby are donated to local charities, and the grand prize this year is a pick up truck.

Operation Game Thief
Maine Operation Game Thief (Maine OGT) is a private, non-profit organization that works with the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Warden Service to pay rewards to citizens who turn in poachers. Rewards of up to $1,000, based on severity, and are paid for information that leads to the arrest or summons being issued for a fish or wildlife violation. Rewards of up to $2,000 are paid for information that leads to the arrest or summons being issued to individuals unlawfully introducing non-native fish species into Maine's waters. In all cases, the caller remains anonymous, does not have to reveal their names or testify in court.

The fish aquarium exhibit is maintained by two of Cabela's outfitters, Jim Pellerin & Tim Arienti. Donation Guidelines
Cabela's is proud to provide support for area charities and conservation partners. Due to the large volume of requests received, we have established policy for all donations. Our retail program supports non profit 501( c ) (3) organizations located within 100 miles of the Scarborough store. All requests must be mailed on official letterhead of the beneficiary at least forty-five days prior to the event date. Requests can be mailed to:
