I bought the sabercut to compare to a different pocket chainsaw I own. I was not impressed. While UTS makes top notch gear for true survival situations, they missed the mark here. The nylon handles are compact and lightweight, but they pinch your hand while sawing. I put quarter sized sticks in the handles and eliminated the problem. The blade is an actual chain blade, fine for a chainsaw, not for muscle driven. The blade is too wide and takes too much energy to use. I prefer my old pocket chainsaw in a can. It comes with round handles and the blade is half as wide, making work half as hard.
I bought this saw and loved the size of it small light weight and fits on your belt. The thing i have to saw about it is if your in an area full of hard woods prepare for a work out. Now i'm not in the best shape but this saw had me sweating bullets after the first cut. Now when ever i go out i still carry the caw but I also carry a old buck saw my father gave me.
