I bought these as an alternative to the casings I get at a local high-end meat shop that cost at least 3x as much. The casings are indistinguishable from the "fancy" ones and are easy to work with. You are supposed to soak them for several hours before using, but I think you can reduce that soak time a bit without any adverse effect on the sausages. I will buy these again when I run out.
