The Crazy Charlie has become synonymous with bonefish. It gives the illusion of a shrimp, but is lightly dressed so it won't spook wary fish in shallow water. The bead eyes allow the pattern to sink quickly to the bottom where it will create a sand puff when stripped. Per 2.

crazy charlie fly

Excellent fly for bonefish in the Bahama's. Unfortunately, the hooks are inferior. They bend easily at the tip, making hookups next to impossible. Additionally, the hackles come off after a very short period.
I will send all fly's back to Cabela's and look for another source.
