Its heavy-duty strap harness is contained in a silent, durable vest and features quick-snap buckles on the chest, legs and waist for convenience. The accordion-folded tether breaks away in sections to dampen the stop of a fall. Quick-cinch strap provides extra-strong, no-slip attachment to the tree. Miniature seat-belt-style leg buckles. Two large pockets at the waist. Includes a deer-drag strap for hands-free dragging that converts to a life-saving suspension relief strap (Adult supervision must be maintained in all safety related aspects anytime someone under the age of 16 uses an HSS harness).Tested to TMA standards. Camo pattern:Realtree Hardwoods Green HD®.
This fall my 5/6 year old grandson will be joining me in our treestand and the Hunter Safety System was a prefect fit for him. There's plenty of growing room for him and the extra strap is hidden away. Used with the H.S.S. life line attached him and I will be safe from falling.
I bought this for my son who just does weigh 50 lbs. I was worried about it being too large, but once he has on his insulated bib overalls, a sweatshirt, and coat, it fits just fine. It seems to be very comfortable and he feels safe in it.
My six year old has been in the woods with me since he was three years old... Normally when he is with me we sit in a tower blind, but it has not been that easy to move around during bow season with the two of us. This year he told me that he was a big boy now and wanted to join me in a tree stand. Since I use the adult version, this was my first thought and with a double 15 ft ladder stand, both of us are safe and he is having a great time being able to have a full view of everything going on around him, plus he had a full view when dad arrowed a 6pt during bow season.
