I purchased this vest and when I tried it on there was a strong smell in the material. I could never use this vest, deer would smell me a mile away. Going to return it.

Stinks!

I wish I would have read prior review before purchasing, but I noted convienient pockets and buckles and purchased it up on impulse. However, once it was home and out of the package, it has an overpowering odor comparing to a high potent adhesive that will not go away! I beleive if I left it outdoors in the sun for a year it would not improve. This thing is going back today!! How can they manufacture a hunting item with such a powerful smell?

Solid vest, but fabric has a smell that will not become scent free no matter how many times you wash it in scent killer, or how many times it is sprayed with scent a way. Gets worse when warmed by the sun.
