I have a 2005 Bayliner 175 and the horn went out--I was using it to toot during 2009's July 4th celebration and I guess it could only take so much. I always have an airhorn as a back-up but decided I better replace it. This couldn't have been easier--I would even say this is a direct factory replacement. Just take a flathead screwdriver and pop off the old cover (it has a glue or silicon holding it on too) and take out the two screws underneath. Then go under the driver seat and remove the two wires leading to the horn. Go back to the outside and pull the old horn out. Simply install the new horn the opposite way and you're done! It seems to be quite loud, but I probably won't go hog wild using it again.
