I needed to make a quick run to our local Cabela's to grab some black powder revolver shooting supplies and purchased a box of 100 Hornady Swaged Round Balls while there. Well, they didn't disappoint. I could tell from looking at them that they were very well crafted. Loading was easy, obtained a good seal and had no malfunctions whatsoever. Perfromance was very pleasing, with consistent groups running under 2 " at 25 yds. They are a tad pricey, but when convenience is key, I would recommend trying these. Thanks, Cabela's for always having what I need.

Round balls for black powder pistols...more than adequate for the need. A little pricey for what they are.

Loads easly due to the soft pure lead.

Unlike some other brands that are made of a harder alloy, these appear to be pure lead and are easier to seat on top of the powder. They seal well and I have never had a problem with the rounds in the other chambers coming loose due to recoil.
