I found this rug to be worth the sale price but not real sure I would have been happy if I paid the regular price. I found no bad odor coming from it. Shipping was a little pricey because of its size. Over all not a bad purchase.

Definitely wouldn't have been worth the full retail price. It does have the rough, plastic feel described by one reviewer and the pile is very thin, barely 1/4 in. thick. It's ok for seasonal use in a cabin, in a low traffic area. Would not recommend it for a year-round home.
