Field-proven boots
Date:
I've bought these rubber boots 3 years ago now and have used them for field work as a wildlife biologist and, ruffed grouse and white-tailed deer hunting mainly.
I am impressed at how tough they are, especially given the fact that we're talking about rubber material here. On many occasions, I've stepped into thick spiny bushes, old barbwire, etc., and thought to myself "oh no, that's it, they are pierced", but ended up not finding a single scratch or hole. They do not seem to wear where the material "plies", which is a good thing. They will crack eventually, which is normal, but so far so good.
To make the story short : good, reliable quality boots.

Great Boots
Date:
Everything about these boots is wonderful. They are waterproof, scent free, comfortable, easy to put on and take off and warm while sitting in a treestand for hours in 20 degree temps! I was so impressed I purchased the uninsulated Burly for early bow season.

High hopes for boot but sole seperated from boot
Date:
I purchased these boots because of the brand name and good reviews. I have a set of La Crosse's 800 gram rubber boots that I have had for about 8 years now and still going strong. I wore these boots for about 6 hunts here in Michigan and the sole seperated from the boot itself on one of the boots. They do run a size smaller as other reviews indicate, but that was taken into consideration when ordering. I had high hopes for these boots as they were comfortable and warm. My feet never got wet when using them to cross the creek on property where I hunt. But as I indicated they seperated. I returned these to Cabela's and was given a refund without issue.
