I bought the 2000 Gram Cabela's Comfort Trac boot and it is the best boot I have found for the money. Comfortable, form fitting and easy to manuever through the woods. I wear them from turkey season all the way through late season archery with no cold toes!!
The boots have a definate smell to them, I found that scent killer applied before a hunt did not spook deer, I would watch deer walk right over my tracks without putting their nose down. Boots did not last through my second hunting season though. They got cracks, IE LEAKS. I do alot of walking through some really tough stuff but would have expected them to last longer. I would look for something else unless you plan to only stand hunt and not do alot of tracking...
I got to use these boots for our november hunting season and they worked out great. A few of the reviews talked about the smell of the rubber.
I have to admit it was a little strong when i first got them, but after a couple weeks leaving them outside it was much better and the 8 point monster buck that I got didn't seem to mind the rubber to bad either.
They are a little bulky but what do you expect if you want to keep your feet warm during the cold hunting season. The weight was not that bad at all. Over all I think it is a good boot and I would recommend them to anyone who wants warm feet.
