Heavy and stiff

I received these boots for Christmas. If I had tried them in a store I doubt I would purchase them. I will most likely return these boots. To me they are very heavy and stiff and I can't see wearing them in the field for hours of hunting. True I haven't tried them in the field, but if I do that and they don't work I will be stuck with them.

Is there a truly waterproof comfortable rubber hunting boot?
