Great lure for a variety of gamefish.started using them last winter for walleye with great results,a 29" largest to date.Also have caught Smallmouth,largemouth,white bass & white perch.

I saw this ice fishing plug used on a fishing show. They were jigging it while on a boat. I bought this lure and it worked for me in catching walleyes just like on the fishing show.

This is a great perch lure through the ice! The weight makes it especially effective when the fish are a little deeper. I use braid with a swivel attached (the lure has a tendency to twist line, because it swims in a circle), and at least a two foot fluorocarbon leader. I usually remove the bottom treble to facilitate unhooking the fish. I'll add a small dab of jelled scent to each hook on the ends, and to the belly hook ring. Lots of guys keep the treble on, and put a small piece of bait on it. It all works! Depending on where you fish, don't be surprised if a big wally or pike grabs your Rap and sends you into ultralight chaos! I just bought a 5/8 oz. Rap to try for open water wallys from the boat. This could prove interesting!

The jigging rap has varied action depending on the jigging motion. I use it with a minnow head on the bottom hook. Very effective lure.
