Northland Thumper® Jig

The Thumper® Jig is new and features a Blood red Lip-Stick® wounded bait hook and deadly "thumper" belly blade that flashes and flutters to lure' em in and trigger' em to strike. It's deadly on crappie, perch, walleye, bass and trout. Per 2.

WANTED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT ON MY HOME LAKE INSTEAD OF THE SAME THING(REGULAR ROUND HEAD JIDS). NOT THAT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THEM BUT, WHEN I TRIED THEM THEY SEEMED TO OUT FISH THE OLD STAND BY. THE SPINNER MAY BE THE DIFFERENCE VERY SHARP HOOK NICE PAINT JOB AND THE BAIT KEEPER WORKS AWESOME. TIE ONE ON AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF, YOU MAY BE HAPPY YOU DID!!!

I have purchased from 1/16 to 1/4 oz Thumpers and am very impressed. They have become my go-to jigs for walleye, perch, crappie, and trout. The best colors seem to be the natural for walleye and the orange/chartreuse for panfish/trout. I would highly recommend keeping at least a few of these in your tackle box.

Need better hooks

The jig seems to be ok. But the biggest let down is the hook. The hooks seems to be so thin & can be bent very easily by hand. Dont thing the jig will last if hit by a 2+ kilo fish.
