Great Lure, Bad Paint
Date:
I've used this jig through the ice and from the boat with great success. Unfortunately the paint is very poor. Seem like it takes less than 5 fish and the paint is gone.

barb is a must
Date:
the barb on these is a must to keep a jig skirt on. The weight is great without having to use a larger hook. gets down to the bottom without being too big.

Great jig
Date:
The Cabelas wobble jigs have worked great for Walleys and Perch here in WI on the Wisconsin River. These jigs produced better strikes from walleyes than the round head jigs we were using. The side to side action that they have turned the walleys and Perch on. Fished with just plastic ringworms.
The one downside to the jigs are that the eye of the hook breaks easy because the lead is not very thick do to the shape of the jig.

Extra Wiggle
Date:
I fish saltwater Gulp behind standard jig heads in tidal creeks for reds, flounder, and seatrout. The 4" Gulp swimming mullet has a twister tail which is enhanced by this jig's design. If the hook shank was a big longer and the gap a little larger , it would be perfect, although it is pretty good as it is.
