The Clarus series puts exceptional performance in your hands at a price comparable to most manufacturers’ lower-end rods. The high-modulus IM7 graphite blank has been updated to give you an ideal combination of power and sensitivity. The exposed-blank reel seat on the casting rods puts you in direct contact with the blank for increased feel. Fuji® Aluminum Oxide guides promote greater heat dissipation and increased line performance at a decreased weight. Grade A cork handles give a firm grip, wet or dry. Limited lifetime warranty.

I paired this rod up with a Shimano Stradic FI. The rod is light,great feel,etc. it was hard to tell any difference between my rod and my buddies St. Croix on a hook up. Now if I could just retire and fish every day ... Grrrrr 30 yrs to go rrrrrr

I had a 7' M-H for about 6 months until it snapped in half. I had only 12lb. test line on the rod and it was rated to 25lb. I was stuck on a snag and without giving it to much force, the pole cracked in half. Otherwise, the pole had great sensitivity and was light. I'm not sure if I'd buy another one, however with the warranty I'll probably get one from the factory. I do have to pay for shipping and it was only my 5th. time using it.

not for casting 3-4oz weights for steelies,had tip snap off 3 guides from tip first cast of the day,otherwise very nice rods with lightter weights
