Nice & Very Sensitive

Just bought 2 of these one 24" UL and one 24" ML. UL is perfect for cappies, ML is light enough for crappies/perch but will probably use more for walleye. Used them last weekend and caught some nice crappies. Shrink wrap reel holders worked fine, but I really put the heat to them with the hair dryer.

Perfect Crappie and Perch Rod

I got the ML version in 28 inches. Boy what a great product! it is extremely sensitive, lightweight and the handle is larger, which with my large hands makes for a comfortable experience. The shrink wrap reel holders are terrible. they loosen right away, and i immediately replaced them with saran wrap underneath electrical tape to protect the cork.

I got the 28" UL for perch jigging and it is so much better than the other lightweight rods I've used. I agree with the first review on the heatshrink wraps, they got a little loose after a few trips so I added some zipties

Great rod

I chose the medium light 28 inch rod. This rod is extremely sensitive and has plenty of backbone. My only complaint is the heat shrinking reel straps. They work okay but I also used a zip tie and it seems to hold up pretty well. Overall it is a fantastic product. Thanks cabela's!
