Perfectly balanced for nymph-style fishing, the heavily front-weighted taper offers smooth control and power-tuned loading for nymphing. Its ultrahigh buoyancy and slick, dirt-repellent coating also keeps it fresh for responsive performance. Welded loops on the tip and back end. Dual-color design with 10-ft. orange indicator tip.

Sage has made a good reputation with its fly gear, but this is the first fly line of theirs I have owned. I got this line for about 70% off list price, so how could I go wrong? I used this line on a recent trip in Colorado. It has a nice feel and cast and is very lightweight. The fish were a little shy that weekend, so I didn't get a lot of play with it. It is definitely an upgrade from the old line, so I would recommend it at this point.

I purchased this line hoping it would be easier to cast a weighted nymph or an indicator as the manufacturer suggests. I am very impressed. The taper allows me to easily cast a nymph, indicator, or dry fly. I also like the fluorescence orange end segment which helps detect a fish strike. This line is the best of both worlds for me. I now use it for everything.
