The most versitile spey line ever made....
Date:
I'm addictied to casting. When I go fly fishing I can't wait to arive at our destination, just to cast my fly line.... If I catch a steelhead or chinook, it's a mear bonus. Fishing the great spey lins of todays market, is a reword all in it's self. I first used (Rio's Windcutter II) spey line on my best friends (13' TFO Deer Creek) seires spey rod. His rod was a 7/8 weight, with a (525 grain & 54.5' belly Wind Cutter II) spey line. Having a much shorter belly than I'm used to using, I was suprised to find the line to be very effortless and easy to cast.... Mind you; I'm used to using a (14'9" 10/11 weight TFO Scandinavian) rod, matched up with (Rio's 850 grain Power Spey M-11 line with a belly length of 71'). Never the less, I had no trouble casting the (Wind Cutter II) spey line. Having a strong liking for long belly lines comes with great patience and devotion. I hope that this new slicker version of the first (Wind Cutter) line can convince more anglers to try or even switch over to the joys and versitility of long belly spey lines.... A Line that mends this well, and this simple to use, is worth every penny....
