A new formula for our Fluorocarbon Leaders will give anglers the ultimate advantage. When you place them in water, they almost disappear. Fish can't see them and don't spook like they do with conventional leaders. These leaders feature superb wet knot strength, they sink quicker and are extremely abrasion-resistant. Tippets feature the same material in uniform diameters. Leader-Tippet Assortment includes 3 leaders and matching tippet spool.

I FISH FOR STEELHEADS IN THE STREAM AT ERIE, PA. I USED ALL MAKES OF LEADERS AND THE STEELHEADS ARE SO STRONG FIGHTING,RUBBING YOUR LEADER AGAINST THE ROCKS, THAT YOUR LEADER WOULD GET ROUGH AND FINDLY BREAK THE LEADER OR AT A KNOTE. SO I NEEDED A LEADER WITH GREATER KNOTE STRENGTH AND ABRASION RESISTANCE. I USED 4X IN THIS TIPPET MATERIAL AND ITS NUMBER 1 FOR ME.

I found the fluorcarbon leader material superior to monofilament leader material in abrasion resistance to rocks and foliage, clarity in the water, and sinking ability. It will be my standard for fly fishing from now on.
