    • Limited edition – only 625 will be made
    • Five models to choose from
    • Premium-quality Green River finish
After a half-century built on the foundation of a few hand-tied flies, Cabela’s celebrates its 50th Anniversary by releasing this limited-edition series of fly rods. A total of 625 rods will be made available in five models. Take advantage of this rare chance to own an historic collector’s heirloom from Cabela’s. Crafted for all-around performance, the intermediate-modulus, high-strain carbon-fiber blanks have a moderate-fast action to excel at a variety of techniques. The lightweight construction includes aluminum-oxide stripper and hard chrome snake guides. Two coats of flex coat slow-cure finish, handsome Green River finish and premium cork handles complete the classic look. The 8’ 4-wt., 8’6" 5-wt. and 9’ 8-wt. models are limited to 75 rods apiece. The 9’ 5-wt. and 9’ 6-wt. models are limited to 200 rods apiece. Includes rod tube. Made in USA.

May be going for THREE...........
Date:
I purchased a 5wt and have used it with a DT-F line for a few weeks. A nice rod. Since then I have purchased the 6wt and have used it with a WF-F line. Both have worked in their weight catergory without question. I am so positive of these rods that I may be purchasing the 8wt in the very near future. With bargains such as these on the mentioned rods and their Prestige Plus, RLS reels and line I consider all to be a bargain. BTW, these rods are a mod/fast action type. Researching St Croix I would suspect they fall in the Avid category.
