We’ve taken our top-of-the-line XMLTi series and made it lighter and more responsive. Ultralight, stronger-than-steel Technora® fibers, embedded in the premium-graphite blanks, allows us to make these rods thinner and lighter than previously thought possible. Recoil® guides can be pushed completely flat against the blank without damage. Plus, they are four to five times lighter and more wear-resistant than ceramic guides. MagTouch® reel seat. Cushioned EVA split grips.

Got the rod on sale, heavy action, and matched it up with the prodigy (also on sale) 201B bait caster. Can\u2019t believe how light it is. Will use it as one of my frog set ups. Again, this rod is so light you don\u2019t even know you have it in your hand. The only thing I wish it had is cork grips. Not to say the eva grips are of poor quality, I just like cork better.

I purchased the XMLTIC705-1A and could not be happier. The rod is very light and incredibly responsive. After my first outting with it I am convinced I made the right purchase. I was able to feel even the slightest nibbles on the bait which led to more fish. In addition, the rod feels very sturdy. I look forward to many good years of use!
