Synergy reels deliver the performance of a spinning reel without all the hassles. They possess smooth, two-ball- bearing operation, polished stainless steel front cones with titanium-coated line guides, dual Insta-Grab™ stainless steel pickup pins, and spool-applied, adjustable disc drag systems. Medium-action 6-ft., two-piece graphite composite rod has a comfortable cork handle and twist-lock reel seat. Two-piece, graphite composite rod.

Nice little Combo

This is a nice combo package for the price. Everything works like it is designed to. I bought this combo as a second or third line for in the water. It is performing as I expected. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great for on sale price

Good combo. I've caught some large fish and it handles them pretty well. Had some small issues with the reel and line getting hung up inside, but was easily fixed. For the price (when on sale) the rod is worth the cost.
