Combo reel has 4+1 bearings, a graphite frame and rotor, an aluminum spool and a one-touch fold-down handle.

Great Fishing pole for the price!

Bought one of these fishing poles in 2008 for my girlfriend.. the problem was she never got to use it!!! I re-strung the reel with 20lb braided Tuf-Line and it quickly became my favorite light weight bass rod!! i have hauled in hundreds of fish on this pole ranging from minnows to my biggest fish ever. a 14.5 pound, 38in tiger muskie. took about 40 minutes to play out the muskie. what a rush on a light weight rod! i broke 3" of the tip putting it into the truck.. but i took the rod back to cabelas and they put a new tip on it free of charge! didnt loose any of the sensitivity either! great fishing pole and i did purchase a new one for my lady!! i would recommend this to anyone as a starter pole, an extra, or as your new favorite rod!

Got this on sale at Cabela's in East Hartford. Second time out pole snapped in half reeling in 16" pickerel. Would have returned but could not find receipt. Very disappointed in rod, the reel seems pretty good, I put reel on old shakespere rod I had.

I bought the 6'6 inch rod. I went fishing today and the bite was very light, but the rod was very sensitive so I had a great day on the lake. This is a great rod for the price. A very good value.
