looking at these and thinking they could be used on a boat i assumed they were made out of metal..... they are plastic! so thinkin they could get banged and broke easy on a boat, however i am using them in my fishing room so not a big deal except with them not being metal and screws not included they are definately over priced. but like others have stated there isn't much else there like it.

They work.

These rod holders are of a design that fills a niche I have not seen any other rod holders fill. My boat has limited rod storage and these provided some secure, horizontal storage. Vertical storage can get in the way of casting, netting, etc... Since these are single holders, the don't need much space to be mounted, which was essential for me. Kind of pricey, but there isn't any other options, so they are worth it.

THESE ROD HOLDERS ARE GREAT FOR THE MONEY

THESE ARE GOOD QUALITY AND A LOT LESS EXSPENSIVE THAN THE ALUMINUM ONES, I USED 8 OF THEN UNDER THE ALUMINUM ROOF OF MY PONTOON BOAT THEY WORK GREAT DONT BREAK LIKE THE OLD ONES I HAD WHEN YOU BANG THEM GOOD PRODUCT
