Injection-molded, UV-inhibiting, high-density polyethylene rod holders have a deep slot to lock in most conventional rods and reels to eliminate rattle. 12" high with 1-3/4" hole diameters. Rod tubes also come complete with three mounting positions to allow for multiple mounting applications. Equipped with tool holding cutout. Made in USA.

I've mounted a triple, and two singles on a large" Kayak style" Milk Crate set up for use in my 21 foot Freight Canoe. They hold trolling rods, Boga grip, and my boat net just fine, they also seem rather durable after 3 years hard use.I'll add 1-2 more to the crate ,since I always want to bring more rods.

How about some stainless hardware?

For the price of these rod racks you would think they would come with stainless steel hardware...they DO NOT. If you purchase these, plan on spending some extra money to replace the nuts and bolts, unless you are OK with rust stains running down the side of your boat. Also, the way they are packaged is mind blowing. The 4 bolts that are supposed to be used to mount the rack to the boat come installed backwards. They obviously did this for their convenience in shipping so the bolts don't stick out the back of the rack. What they didn't think about is how much of a hassle this is for the customer to reverse. It's pretty hard to get a grip on the nut when it's so far inside the rod holder tube. Not to mention some of the bolts required a flat head screw driver and others required a phillips. Sorry Cabelas, I am a true fan of most of your gear, but the engineering department missed the boat on this one. Other than the poor choice of hardware and the way the bolts are installed for shipping, the plastic tubing seams to be OK.

Absolutely the best for the price.Easily modified to fit my needs.I ordered the 4 holder rack.It was slightly wide for the area I wanted to install it,so I cut one section off and made it a three holder rack and installed the single one at another location in the boat.Worked perfectly.Very satisfied with this product.

Very high quality as expected from Cabela's. They are supplied with screws that are not suited for a saltwater installation but maybe OK for freshwater. I don't know why the mounting area is serrated but can easily be sanded flush.
