The standard 33 million-modulus/high strain RX6 graphite used in the construction makes it a beginner-friendly rod with exceptional all-around casting performance that will also appeal to the experienced fly fisherman. Forecast RX6 Standard Fly-Rod Kits contain all the components you need to build a beautiful custom fly rod. Kits include: burled rosewood reel seat (7-, 8- and 9-weight kits will come with a black aluminum reel seat), premium cork grip, SIC stripper guide, hard chrome snake guides, hook keeper, winding checks, epoxy, rod finish, three colors of thread, brushes and instructions.

the two kits i bought came in a timaly manner and i like the looks a the way they handle the kits could use another pack of epoxey it drie faster than i could work it and i was missing one rod tip no big deal in all a good product

Great kit to start with....

This was my first experience with rodbuilding but certainly not my last.. Great kit for a great price. It was all complete and compliments for Cabelas for the fast delivery ! I ordered on tuesday and the whole package arrived on thursday overhere on the other side of the pond....(!) If you consider to build your first rod, choose this one. It`s easy to build and the overall result is great. With help of some YouTube footage, some patience and the included instructions, I mannaged to build a great handbuild flyrod for myself...Thanks Cabelas...!
