High-tech resin bonds high-modulus graphite to create a super-strong, durable rod with supreme power for casting and fighting fish. The flat charcoal rod blanks are lightweight and have fast, crisp actions with superb sensitivity. Our XML Series represents an evolution of our popular HML Series to a higher plane. We added an updated, high-tech resin that better bonds the high-modulus graphite to create a stronger rod that can shrug off dings and nicks while maintaining casting and fish-fighting power. These non-glare flat charcoal rod blanks are incredibly strong and feature fast, crisp actions, all with a thinner wall thickness than rods with similar dimensions. This provides you with a blank that is lighter in weight with increased sensitivity.
