I tried these shells in a savage mkII rifle and was very dissapointed. I fired 50 rounds and experienced 2 failures to fire, 20 failures to extract, and 5 squib loads (reduced power during firing). The only reason that these got two stars is because they shoot pretty respectable groups and do not spread quite as much as the CCI shotshell.

these rounds aren't that great at staying sealed. i have 2 boxes and most of them leak smokeless powder. if you have a need to control small pests, i should probably just get a .410 shotgun with reduced loads.
