I fired 500 rounds of these through my M&P 15-22, without a single FTF or jam. They fed consistently through the rifle. One thing with the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 magazines, is that you have to load them carefully. I do not recommend using the finger load button as this can lead to improper stacking and could cause some issues I have heard from others. For me, these are great accurate rounds that pack a punch.
These are hot rounds and hit very hard ; we even tested them in ballistics gel with turkey bones and they would rip through a thru 3 inches ballistics gel , turkey bone then out the back of 4 inches more of gel. However they are dirty as dirty can get and dont feed well thru any clip fed pistol or rifle. Our S&W MP15-22 hates them and they dont seem to "stack" very well in the magazine like they are not consistently the same size. That being said when I buy a 22 revolver or bolt action rifle I am definitely going to get some more. For a good "hotter" round at a reasonable price I would suggest the Remington Viper or Yelllow Jacket for semi auto use, cheaper than Stinger but still seem to hit fairly hard.
Awesome ammo. hard hitting, fast, and super accurate. I shoot it out of my S&W mp 15-22 and my issc m22 pistol. with my rifle i was hitting dead center every time from 50+ yards out. pistol was just as good at closer distance.
While these produce rather loose groups in my .22 rifle, my Taurus .22 revolver loves them. They out shoot everything else I've tried in the revolver and the energy is comparable to .380 auto, which makes it feasible to use for personal defense as well as great range ammo. The solid points seem to produce slightly tighter groups over the hollow points, but both are good.
These probably wouldn't be my first choice for accuracy in a long gun, but I don't think you can beat it for handgun ammo. I'm giving it 5 stars as a handgun round. I'd likely drop that one or two stars as a rifle cartridge, at least in my rifle, which doesn't seem to like the super high velocity stuff.
