The next-generation VX-L series features an innovative contoured bell with exclusive Light Optimization Profile™ technology to give you the light-enhancing performance of a large objective lens. Enables you to mount the scope low to the bore like a traditional 36mm scope. Its high-tech crescent design delivers 48.6% more Total Light Throughput™ than a 36mm scope with an uninterrupted, circular field of view and sharp edge-to-edge clarity. The Index Matched Lens System® coats each lens surface to eliminate reflection and further improve light transmission. More usable light reaches your eyes due to edge-blackened lens. DiamondCoat™ 2 lens protection provides a scratch- and abrasion-resistant finish for a lifetime of rugged use. Second-generation argon/kryton waterproofing makes this scope impervious to fogging, heat and rain. All models feature a lockable, fast-focusing eyepiece; dual-spring; titanium nitride/stainless steel adjustments; and finger-adjustable and 1/4-MOA click adjustments with resettable pointer dials for unmatched aiming precision. The range-estimating tactile power indicator provides infinitely adjustable magnification. Custom Dial System (CDS) models offer competition-level bullet-drop compensation, yet are compact and easy to operate in hunting situations. Simply adjust the turrets for a known range and squeeze the trigger (all-purpose turret included; additional caliber-specific turrets available from Leupold). All models include a custom-fitted scope cover. 1" tube unless otherwise noted. Matte-black finish.

bought the scope for my Browning 300 win mag. great scope, wish they had heavy duplex but thats just my preference. very clear and is holding up very well. great product for the money

My 4th goldring and best yet

Just sighted in my new gun and the new scope. Optics are excellent, adjustment so easy. Recieved the custom elevation dials. It was 2 for one with Leupold and recieved one each taylored for 129 gr and 140 gr loads.
After sighting in my gun, installed the custom dial and was dead on at 600 yrds. MIND BLOWING> switched out to the 140 gr load and was a direct hit at 100 and 600. LOVE IT>

Awesome scope

I have had the 4.5-14 for the last 3 seasons and I love it. I live in the pacific northwest where you can have a 10 yard shot in the deep dark timber or 500+ yards in clearcuts. The weather is always nasty and this scope has been amazing. It has out preformed other scopes that were considered higher quality. I would recommend this to any serious hunter.

Great scope, im just wondering if its worthe the kind of money i had to pay for it. Would maybe try something else although it is tough and well built and the boone and crocket reticles are a nice option.
