Legendary Leupold performance in scopes specifically engineered for the AR-15 platform. Each completely waterproof, fogproof model is built tough for delivering exceptional image clarity with Multicoat 4" lens systems. The 3-9x40, 4-12x40 and 6-18x40 offer 1⁄2-MOA T2 elevation and windage adjustment, and a special Bullet-Drop Compensation dial calibrated for the 55-gr. .223 Remington/5.56 NATO round. Simply range the target, turn the scope dial to the corresponding range, hold dead-on and fire. It's that easy. For tactical or mid to short range shooting, choose the 1.5-4x20mm. All Mark AR scopes have 1" tube diameters and are rigorously tested in the most demanding conditions by Leupold at its Beaverton, Ore. factory.

I bought the 3-9 without the MIL-DOT. In hindsight I wish I would have spent the extra money for the 4-12 with MIL-DOT. This is a high quality scope for the money. My son knocked over my rifle and the scope took a direct hit from a hardwood floor, the scope maintained zero. The clarity is great, I can't say enough about Leupold. This is a great scope for any AR and Leupold makes one for every purpose.

Awesome scope! Zeroed at 100, turned the dial to "2" & nailed the 200 yard target. Turned the dial to "3" & hit the 300 yard target & thats with factory Hornady plinking loads. Can't wait to try it with some Winchester Ballistic tips! Paired it up with the Leupold Mark 2 scope base which I give 5 stars also. Can't beat this scope for the price AR shooters! Scope has great clarity, I couldn't be happier! Good job Leupold.

The Best Scope

I bought one of these scope not sure about the functionality of it. After mounting it on my AR and trying it worked just like it stated. In fact 4 of my friends ordered them and they were glad that they saw mine!!! I thought I one upped them but they caught up with me after their purchase
