These rugged scopes have been torture-tested to ensure they stand up to the shock and abuse of slugs and high-powered loads without ever having an element shake loose. Improved, multicoated glass optics provide greater light transmission for superior brightness and contrast, edge-to-edge clarity and picture-defining image resolution. Upgraded, streamlined eyepieces eliminate tunnel vision by moving the sight picture closer to the front of the eyepiece. Extended eye relief and an expanded exit pupil promote faster target acquisition. Each scope is waterproof, shockproof and fogproof. Prolonged exposure to subfreezing cold followed by immediate and prolonged immersion in hot water failed to cause any leakage or problems. Rigid, precisely machined-aluminum tubes for years of service. Low-profile turrets with precise windage and elevation adjustments. Available in Seclusion 3D®.

I am returning 2 of these scopes as the windage adjustments refused to work on both scopes on 2 different rifles. No matter how much we turned the adjustment, the point of aim never moved. Boresighting had the same result. Cabela's products are generally extremely reliable. They must have gotten a bad batch of these scopes.

The second failure

I have had 2 failures of this scopes. The first failed due to inability to adjust windage on the scope. It was promtly replaced by another of the same model which failed this year due to the eyepiece lens coming loose. Cost me a 12 point trophy buck! To be fair, Cabela's reports improvements on this scope since my purchase, but I think it's a risk to buy. I'm trying the Cabela's Slugger EXT Shotgun Scope this time. Generally, Cabela's branded stuff is great!

great price

shot 65 Remington Sluggers at the range in one sitting.... i didnt tighten my scope ring screws enough so the first 15 shots were all over the place but after i did it started to shoot better.... dont blame the scope, blame the recoil....recoil's making me flinch too much so some shots were off...
