I bought this scope thinking it would get me through until I had more money to buy a "better" scope. NO NEED. This scope is sharp and provides good low light viewing . I'll buy another one but with BDC next time .Great value for the money .
For a no frills "Meat getter", this is THE scope..

I initially purchased a silver Bushnell 3200 Elite 3-9x40mm scope for my wife back in 2009 for her first coyote rig. I was amazed at how clear and bright the scope was. She has used it for coyotes out to 400yrds on her .223, then swapped it over to her .45-70 and bagged an 11pt, 160class buck this winter with it at 250yrds, at 5:45pm (legal sunset at 5:20, shooting hours closed at 5:50pm).
No, it's doesn't have all of the bells and whistles, but the clarity and brightness is the top in it's class. The tracking is dead on (box test) and the adjustments are true (1 click DOES = 1/4" at 100yrds). This scope does what it's supposed to do, and does it well. I was VERY impressed by the quality of the lenses in this scope, and the hardware supports it VERY well.
For a no-frills, budget friendly meat getter, this is THE scope.
I have had this scope for several seasons. The first year I had problems sighting the rifle in. My shots would keep drifting to the right. I thought that that seemed funny so I took the scope off and tried it Iron sights. Perfect! I sent the scope in to have it replaced or looked at and when I got it back, it seemed to be all right. Half way through this season the scope started to fog up. Then I missed a great shot at an elk at 200 yards where I had always had a 2" group.. Test fired the gun and sure enough it was back to being way to the right and high this time. I am shooting a Remington 7400 in 30.06 and dont believe that recoil is an issue. The only thing I like about the scope is that is is bright. I don't think I would by this scope again or recommend it to any one else though. Maybe I got a lemon!
This scope was my second choice, my first choice was a nikon pro staff. It would not zero at all. Sent it back to cabelas an they exchanged it for this 3200 elite. This scope zero'd in 9 rounds after bore sighting. I installed it on a marlin 30/30. Not sure why, but I heard they discontinued this scope for some reason. I wish I had bought 3 more. Very solid scope.
