The Aries 390 Paladin is a top-of-the-line Generation I scope with 4X magnification and sharp "Red on Green" reticle. Titanium mounting system is light and tough. Only the purest grades of heavy glass and computer-aided optical designs are used to create multielement, high-aperture, multicoated lenses for ultrafast light transmission and resolution beyond current military standards. All Aries scopes use the best hand-selected image-intensifier tubes and high-quality materials ranging from titanium to aircraft-quality aluminum. All have illuminated reticles, adjustable front focus, internal click adjustments, top-quality O-rings, hard exterior finish and are nitrogen-purged for complete resistance to internal fogging. Each is also shipped with batteries, soft case, user guide, instructional video and all necessary hardware for solid mounting to a standard 7/8" Weaver-style rail. Two-year warranty.

Overall good scope. Difficulty seeing clear images with no moonlight. Comes with small red light flashlight to illuminate objects, but not powerfull enough to see past 30 - 40 yards. Unfortunatly, I will be purchasing an alternative flashlight to remedy the problem.

I am suprised at how clear this scope is. I have been hunting hogs at night for several years with a red spotlight. Even with the red filter, they get nervous. I can't wait to put this to use. It has a fairly narrow field of view and you must put your eye right up to the scope bellow so I don't think you would want to put it on a rifle with much recoil. The only drawback I see is the weight, but I'm not walking around with it anyway. Great first generation scope.

Unit has good clarity up to 100 yards. Works great especially when using a feeder keeping the shots up close. Scope is quite heavy so carrying it is tiresome when doing any cross country hunting. As a result this unit worked best for me when in a blind and using a feeder. Have had some trouble with the scope maintaining its zero.

This is the best night vison scope ever. Have it mounted on R15 remington, coyotes don't stand a chance.
