The corrosion-resistant, Weather Shield™ fluted barrel provides dead-on-target accuracy with 150-grain magnum charges. The QLA® muzzle system offers fast-loading convenience. Toggle-lock break-open action provides tip-up barrel access. Hand-removable Speed Breech XT™ plug with gas compensation rings eliminate 95% of fouling and prevents seizing with locking lugs. Bore sited after installing the PowderHorn scope. I loaded 100 grains of Buckhorn 209 powder with a 250 Grain Barnes T-EZ and shot 3 rounds first round 12 inches high. Adjusted the scope and next 2 rounds were touching each other in the bullseye at 100 yards. I have never owned a muzzle loader that shot that good. Next 4 shots were all in a 3 inch group in and around the bullseye. I then shot a few rounds of the Hornady 250 Grain SST and they performed almost as well and were definately easier to load than the Barnes 250 Grain T-EZ. Any hunter would never need to buy another Muzzle loader ever. 2 thumbs up.
BOUGHT THE GUN,SCOPE AND STARTER KIT COMBO. SET IT UP WITH A LAZER SIGHTING SYSTEM AT 60 YARDS AND HARVESTED A NICE BUCK WITH THE FIRST SHOT OUT OF THE FIREARM. TC HAS DONE A GREAT JOB AND CABELA'S ALSO FOR SELLING THESE ITEMS.
I purchased the T/C Triumph Bone Collector with the Cabelas Scope and love it. I had it bore sighted at the store and was hitting the bullseye at 50 yards with no adjustments. A buddy of mine saw my weapon and was so impressed with it that he went out and purchased the same one. Awsome gun and scope!!!!! Way to go T/C and Cabelas!!!!!
