The reliability and easy cleaning of Thompson/Center's patented pivoting action is now available with a Realtree Hardwoods HD® synthetic thumbhole stock and a 28" Hardwoods camo barrel for enhanced all-weather performance and slick aesthetics. Pick up this .50 caliber muzzleloader and you'll be amazed by its natural balance and the way the stock cradles your thumb in a stable shooting position. The 1-in-28"-twist barrel makes it easy to punch tiny three-shot groups with modern projectiles. The pivoting action completely seals the 209 primer within the breech for flawless protection from the elements and 100% positive ignition. When it's time to clean, there's no breech assembly to remove and scrub. Adjustable steel sights with fiber-optic inserts for the ultimate in durability and low-light precision. This Omega rifle comes packaged with an unmounted 3-10x40 matte black Cabela's Powderhorn Muzzleloader Scope and our integral one- piece rings and base. The trajectory-compensating reticle takes the guesswork out of crosshair placement when using today's most popular black-powder bullets. All you have to do is sight in the crosshairs at 100 yards at 10X, determine distance to your target and use the appropriate crosshair. At a distance of 100 yards, the ballistic reticle is precisely calibrated to match bullet drop. The next bar down is calibrated for a drop at 150 yards and the lowest bar down for 250 yards. Starter kit includes 20 Shockwave sabots (250 gr.), composite T-handle short starter/ramrod extension, super jag with integrated spire-point bullet tip, three speed loaders, 209 capper/decapper, bronze cleaning brush, 4-oz. bottle of Cabela's Black-Powder Solvent, 1/2-oz. tube of Super Lube and 25 cleaning patches.
