Love these for deer and antelope in the plains
Date:
These bullets perform VERY well on thin-skinned game. In 2006, I used 12 bullets to take 11 deer and antelope (yes, legally) in Wyoming. Only one took a step. I used the "Texas heart shot" a few times, so I recovered some bullets and found them to hold together extremely well and expand to about the size of a dime. One antelope buck was hit poorly through the gut and high near the spine. He dropped instantly dead from the bullet just passing NEAR the spine. I would hesitate to use these on bears or elk, but for deer and antelope, they're my #1.
