Good and Cheap with a Caveat

Cheap, accurate, low recoil round for my 91/30,
but with one qualification regarding the steel
casing, viz: the rifle must be well lubed and the
empty case immediately ejected on firing,
otherwise the steel casings have a tendency to
stick in the chamber of more than one 91/30 I've
seen and used. Should a casing actually stick,
then squirt lube into both ends giving a minute to
penetrate, carefully tap casing with cleaning rod
(and extension) down the barrel from the muzzle
end (get a crown guard.) Run a clean patch thru
the the bore to remove excess lube and carry on
shooting. This stuff is good and cheap for target
practice, but "in the field" better rely on brass
cartridges.
