Bought a 250 round box and went shooting. This is a great quality round whose price you can't touch for a Hornaday V-Max. Just ordered another 1000 rounds. Happy Shooting!
you dont get much better than Vmax bullets when it comes to varmints and coyotes and the such. this load they use is more accurate than stock Hornady rounds in my experience. I am a farmer and I only take my rifle out of my truck when I have to clean it, therefore I shoot alot. I really love this ammo and I will continue to buy it. My original intentions were to buy 250 rounds and use them then reload using the brass, after shooting this round, I will save my time and just buy this ammo as long as I can get it. I have nothing bad to say about it and niether do my buddies. if they shot this round and not the 204(which carries in the wind too much for me) they would buy this load.
I spend way too much time online pouring over .223 ammo deals, and shoot a thousand rounds a month out of my AR. I'm also a hardcore predator hunter and get out one to two nights a week.
I wouldn't suggest this for target practice, as you can find better paper punching deals out there, but I challenge you to find a more accurate, top-shelf bullet (V-Max), at a better price. These are amazingly accurate out of my AR, feed perfectly, and are reloadable.
The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars is that they are so destructive on fur. Baseball sized exit wounds on fox. Very messy. I know they have other bullet options, and would like to see Cabelas stock alternative loads.
