Garmin® GDL-30 Weather Satellite Receiver

With the GDL? 30 weather data receiver and Garmin's partnership with XM WX Satellite Weather, you can receive real-time graphical weather data coverage of the United States (except Alaska and Hawaii) on your Garmin marine chartplotters. The GDL 30 black box receiver is completely waterproof and is part of the Garmin Marine Network, a plug-and-play system that puts GPS, weather, sonar, radar and other important data literally at a boater's fingertips. Weather information is received and overlaid onto the GPSMAP 3010C or GPSMAP 3006C multifunction, color displays. You can overlay individual or combined weather data screens to check on weather conditions at your current location or along a projected path. You can access current conditions, city forecasts, weather radar, surface air pressure, lightning and storm cell sizes, hurricane tracks, wind speed and direction, wave direction and height, and more. The unit comes with a GA 31 XM satellite antenna, power/data cable and marine network cable.
