The course is a Nationally recognized boating safety and navigation certification course. This course will satisfy the state requirements for boaters’ safety certification. Out of States - Utah Concealed Carry Permit Class June 24, Sunday 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. 2nd Floor Conference Room
The non-resident Utah Concealed Carry Permit is recognized in more than 30 states nationwide. This 4 hour course includes demonstrations and the ability to tryout shooting stances and concealment techniques. Topics covered in the class include: Firearm Safety, Handgun Parts & Operations, Handgun & Ammunition Malfunctions, Handgun Loading, Unloading, and Cleaning, Handgun Shooting Basics, Selecting The Best Self Defense Handgun & Ammunition, Safe Concealment, and Utah Concealed Carry Laws.

This is class contains no live-fire.

The class fee of $100 includes fingerprinting, passport style photos, ID photocopying, application notarization, and an addressed envelope. Payment is due the day of the class.

6 hour In-Depth handgun class session plus a 1 hour range session.

Course Includes:
  •   Instruction Manual
  •   Hands-On Revolver and Pistol familiarization
  •   Cartridge Components and Construction of regular and +P ammo. Discussion of where to locate cartridge identification on the cartridge and the ammo box. The possible cartridge malfunctions that may occur when shooting.
  •   Gun Handling Skills- safely loading and unloading of firearms, Proper handling while in private and in public, Range Commands.
  •   Shooting Skills- Done with Lazer Technology in Classroom to illustrate what must be done to be a successful Bulls eye shooter.
  •   Proper cleaning and lubrication discussion and demonstration.
  •   Range Session- use of different calibers in revolvers and semi-auto handguns.

AR Rifle Training Presented by Personal Protection Academy July 21, Saturday 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. 2nd Floor Conference Room
This is a two day course!

This specialized AR-Rifle Course teaches the student how to properly assemble, disassemble, and repair the rifle. Cleaning the bolt carrier, bolt face & gas rings will be demonstrated. An AR- Manuel is provided to each student. Specific ammunition, ballistics, repair kit, & tools for repair of the rifle will also be discussed.

Bring your AR-Rifle, & cleaning kit for the course. Rentals are available.

Absolutely NO AMMO or Magazines allowed in the classroom. Sunday, January 15th, you will learn how to properly sight in the rifle at 50yds, then progress to the 100 & 200 yd position at The Bristol Shooting Range. The range is enclosed, heated & lighted for night time shooting. Instruction on windage & breathing techniques will be taught on Sunday at the range. )

Sunday, April 22nd, you will shoot 1 - 3 rounds of clays at the Bristol Shotgun Range with our instructors. Certificate of completion & gold medal for each participant will be awarded.

Your choice of 20 or 12 gauge shotgun available for shooting. Additional rounds of clay shooting will be available.

Due to the large volume of requests received, we have established policy for all donations. Our retail program supports non profit 501( c ) (3) organizations located within Illinois.
