Even if you do not currently participate in or help run organized events, knowing the principles taught in this course is valuable to all shooters. Many BSA leaders assisting at shooting events are required to be certified RSO’s.
Anyone under age 21 cannot be certified as an RSO but may attend class at no cost if space permits. (This is a non-shooting course.)
This course will enhance your understanding of: firearm safety skills, firing line commands, pre-shoot safety briefings, emergency procedures range SOP, inspections, rules, and more.
The cost of the course is $80 and will be due the morning of the class.

Cabela’s will be holding another Hunters Education Course, August 4th and 5th. The class will run from 8:30 - 4 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday. You must attend both classes for certification.

Hunter education is not just for kids and not just for hunters. The program is for all folks who enjoy the outdoors and have an interest in conservation. The course can also be an excellent refresher for veteran hunters.
This certification is required for anyone wanting to purchase a hunting license born after Dec. 31st. 1986. This certificate can also be used to purchase a license in other states. (See specific state for their regulations and requirements.) |

All classes are held on Saturday’s from 10 am – 2 pm for a total of four weeks.
