Learn the basics of fly casting and fishing. Outfitter Jerry Hunt, former National Fly Casting Champ, will instruct beginners to cast and teach the techniques to catch fish. The class is limited to 12 people. You must register in the Fly Shop at our store.

Secrets to Catching more Steelhead on the Snake and Clearwater Rivers
Cabela's and Pautzke Bait Company are proud to present Jason Schultz of Hells Canyon Sport Fishing for a special presentation on steelhead fishing techniques, tip and tricks for the Snake and Clearwater rivers. Schultz a 20-year veteran of guiding the rivers will focus on catching more steelhead late this summer and through the fall. Schultz excels in divulging insider tips on how to catch more steelhead by curing your own eggs with Pautzke's Firecure, as well as rod selection and other tips only a guide who's fished the river daily for two decades would know.

Cabela's and Pautzke Bait Company are proud to present Bruce Hewitt of Going Fishing Guide Service at our store. A veteran guide, Hewitt will educate anglers on how to rig up properly to increase the number of salmon and steelhead anglers catch on the Columbia and Snake Rivers this Fall. Hewitt will also focus on how to cure eggs with Pautzke Firecure, herring brining techniques, gear selection and more.

Fall Salmon Fishing on the Hanford Reach of the Columbia
Cabela's and Pautzke Bait Company are proud to present Toby Wyatt at our store. One of the most well known guides in the region, Wyatt will focus on fall salmon fishing the famed Hanford Reach stretch of the Columbia River. The Hanford reach is located between Tri Cities and Priest River Dam. It's the only free flowing section of the Columbia and also holds Washington's largest kings. The seminar will explain how to properly fish during varying water flows and the best techniques for all the situations anglers will face this fall. Wyatt will also explain how he catches more fish by curing with Pautzke's Firecure and other techniques to fish the river.
