Kids' Fishing Derby
Kids ages 14 and younger are invited to the Cabela's Pond for fishing during this time along with the supervision of a parent/guardian. There will be food and drinks, and prizes awarded for the largest fish in several categories. This event will be in collaboration with the Pheasant Country Chapter of Pheasants Forever & Mitchell Parks and Recreation.

South Dakota State Cowboy Fast Draw Championship
Category Match - Friday, August 21st. Main Match - Saturday & Sunday August 22nd & 23rd. Hosted by the Powderhorn Ranch Regulators. Over $5,000 in cash, merchandise, and prizes. Concessions will be offered outside at event.

Dutch Oven Cook-Off
Registration starts at 9:00am with judging to begin as dishes are ready. Cook-off categories: Main course and/or dessert. Main course: Limit to 15 teams - Surprise meat will be provided along with some selected ingredients. Dessert: Unlimited. $5.00 entry fee per oven. Prizes to be awarded.
