Calling All Elk
Several of our expert hunting outfitters will hold a seminar on elk calling. As you will discover, making the sound correctly is a very small part of this art. Camp Chef Ovens
Cabela's is proud to present The Camp Chef Oven. Our camping experts will set up a comprehensive cooking demonstration to show just how simple and handy the Camp Chef Oven is to use. Each elk camp should have one of these fine products for their fall hunt season.

Calling All Elk
Following up on last weeks seminar, we will get a little further in depth on the art of elk calling. Cow calls mixed with calf calls and when to do each will be discussed. We will also talk about when NOT to call, possibly one of the hardest thing to do when hunting big game like elk.

Sleeping Bag Selection

Get Your Knives Ready For Your Hunt
After your animal is down it's time to get cutting. If you have the right equipment and it is ready to work, the knife work is no big deal. If you are not ready, it makes for a very long day. Black Powder 101
We are back to basics with this seminar. During this class we will cover gun selection, caliber, ammo, caps, and all the gear that is needed to shoot black powder fire arms. In later classes we will discuss more closely in line versus traditional.

Fall Kids Fishing Day
Kids 15 and under will be invited to come and fish for free at the Cabela's fish pond. You may bring your own gear and we will have some gear if you need to borrow some. Little anglers will fish in half hour blocks and will get to keep what they catch.
