OK, not the best rest available
Date:
After having this rest for over 5 years now, I'll chime in. The arrow rest rides on 2 plastic sleeves internally. If these sleeves become dirty, it will bind and start dropping slowly (arrow contact can occur). You can take it apart, but you can also easily damage the 2 plastic sleeves if you don't watch what you're doing. A drop of REM OIL on these sleeves seems to help. They used to have a micro-adjust model, but that one was long discontinued. To adjust, you need to loosen the allen-head cap screws and manually move the rest (up/down, left/right)- not always an easy thing to do. It's not the worst I've used and it's an OK rest, but I'm not buying another for my new bow. It's a neat idea (the straight drop), but there are better.

The best rest I've seen or used
Date:
I purchased the Trophy Ridge Dropzone Hunter arrow rest five years ago. I shoot in two leagues and shoot almost every day at home. I have not had to touch this rest since I put it on my bow and I have without a doubt, shot at least 10,000 arrows through it. It is rock solid and my shooting improved dramatically the day I put it to use.
That is why I just recently purchsed the same Trophy Ridge Dropzone Hunter rest for my 12 year old son. I started him shooting when he was 6 years old. He has steadily improved over the years and this rest, like it did for me, has him shooting groups tighter than ever. In fact, as I write this review, he is out in the back yard shooting.
We could not be happier with this product.
Thanks Trophy Ridge!

good not great
Date:
This rest is a good rest but not great. It's a little noisy at the "drop". I don't have the one with harmonic dampners so maybe that would make a difference. All in all this rest is very reliable and gives you total fletching clearance!! To tomteaser89...Check your d-loop and make sure it's not to tight on your nock. I shoot Easton ST Epic arrows with a "u" nock. My buddy uses Gold Tip and his nocks are the factory that come with them. When I shoot his arrows for fun the arrow falls off the rest halfway through my draw! My d-loop just won't accept them it's set up for "u" nocks on my Eastons. Just a thought.....Typical
