Tri-Van™ Vanishing Rest™ Arrow Rest

  • Three supporting arms instantly retract
  • Greater velocity
  • Won't damage vanes or fletching
Experience faster arrow speeds, flatter trajectories and zero vane damage from an innovative new total-arrow-capture rest that is a breakthrough in archery technology. Unlike drop-away rests, Tri-Van Vanishing Rest secures your arrow regardless of bow angle. It maintains that control of the arrow silently through the length of your draw. Then, upon release, the three supporting arms instantly retract into the housing of the rest, giving your arrow a clear, frictionless path of flight. This absence of friction means greater velocity – measured in tests to be as much as 12 fps over other bristle-type capture rests. Increased speed means flatter arrow trajectory and more kinetic energy delivered to the target. And the Tri-Van Vanishing Rest won't damage vanes or fletching. It works equally well with carbon- and aluminum-shaft arrows. Fits right- or left-hand bows.

Think Twice
Date:
I bought a new Mathews Z7 last year and had all new sights and rests installed by the dealer who is a well known expert in the field. I shot the bow about 20 times and was very pleased with all of the equipment. Unfortunately, I was not able to hunt much last season. This season I picked the bow up and on the third shot one of the internal rest broke. I know I had the fletching positioned correctly as I had refletched my target arrows and had to reposition the nocks. I took my bow back to the dealer and he stated that another one of his customers had the same problem. I got a different rest installed. When I got home, I looked up this TriVan rest on the internet. Guess what, the company is now offering a new version with metal rest rather than the plastic ones on the one I have. I have sent 2 emails to the company with no responce. This is not the type of service I expect from my equipment and especially from the mfg. company. Think twice before buying this rest and if you do, make sure it has the metal rest and not plastic.

Awesome Rest
Date:
I recently went to an outdoor show and was talking to a few of the Top 3D shooters that were there to give tips on tuning and shooting. I was looking for a new rest for my BowTech Assassin. After 1000 shots and 2 sets of brushs on the Hostage Rest I have, I wanted to change it out for something top notch. I was prepared to spend up to $150. I went there thinking that a QAD Pro would be my next rest. 2 of the guys told me that they were hunting with a Tri Van Vanishing Rest. I had Never heard of it. One fella said, don't believe the bad ratings you see on line. They were all installed by unqualified people (bow owners). He gave me his card and told me to have one installed by a bow tech and call him if I had a problem. I did exactly that, and 1500 shots later this rest is performing perfectly. I snugged up the brushs a little with the adjustment screw after about a week and that is it. My accuracy went up and no wear what so ever on the brushs. There is a little noise pulling the arrow back across the brushs and rubber pad, but they give you some mole cloth to stick on there for deer season. They say you pick up 12 FPS but they chrono'ed my bow before and after the install and I picked up 6 FPS. I am buying a second Tri Van for my new BowTech Specialist target bow.

Excellent rest!
Date:
This rest is a very very very accurate rest! Works flawlessly!!! however, it is NOT for beginners. You ---MUST-- Have experience with bow tuning to install this rest, I highly recommend taking to a professional for installation. People have given bad reviews because of it locking up, not releasing quick enough or not holding arrow securely. All are adjustable and must be tuned to YOUR bow, otherwise it will damage the rest. If the rest loosens after 50 shots, take a allen wrench and adjust it, you must take care of this rest, and it is professional grade. Good luck guys!

Frozen in time
Date:
Bought the rest this year in hopes that it would secure the arrow in windy Nebraska enviorment. The rest did a good job in that. Problem I had was I hunted one morning in 17 degree weather and it froze up and was useless.
