Swift .30 Caliber, .308" Diameter Bullets

The A-Frame has a cross-member jacket that combines with a bonded front core for controlled expansion, deep penetration and 95% weight retention on the largest game. The Scirocco has an extra-heavy tapering jacket and internally bonded lead core that ensures reliable expansion without sacrificing penetration, weight retention and structural integrity.

Have researched and worked with several bullets to develop a load for my 300 WSM for elk. I read the Cabela's customer reviews, the Swift bullet websites, and other reviews from gun writers on both Swift bullets; the A-Frame and Scirocco.
I questioned whether the price was worth the difference and feel it was and will be. If you figure the total cost of a hunting trip, time, and the outcome hinging on really one thing; the bullet and whether it will do its job. Let's say for instance if a hunt costs on the average $4,000.00, not counting the rifle and equirpment, why does a person want to scrimp on bullet construction. I believe the extra $20-40.00 spent extra per box will definitely be money well spent.
I have paid close attention to the specific load data for Swift bullets and am satsified in their performance at the bench. I admit I have not been able to use them on the intended 4 legged target. Bought to late in the year for Elk season but i am ready for next year. Plan on using the The 180 grain A-Frames in my 300 WSM come next fall. The A-Frames are planned for a future Moose, Grizzly Bear, and African hunt. Thanks Swift and Cabels's for a good product.

They look outstanding, feel great, and reload excellent but I can not get them to group consistently. I have found other products to do a much better job.
